The temporary storage of this data is necessary for the website to function properly. Further storage in log files is done to ensure the website’s functionality and the security of IT systems. This is where our legitimate interest in processing this data lies.

c. How long is the data stored?
Data is deleted once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected. For website provision, this is typically when the session ends. Log files are stored for up to 24 hours and are accessible only to administrators. After that, they are only indirectly accessible via reconstruction and are permanently deleted after a maximum of four weeks.
